teachers in meeting new Federal literacy guidelines.
|
 |
To
utilize the
3 Dimensional StoryTelling™
method to engage the children in the storytelling process. Puppets,
songs, and role playing are incorporated during this process to
introduce and/ or reinforce the alphabet, phonics, and numeric
awareness.
|
 |
To
introduce expanded vocabulary and use of language to enhance
communication skills.
|
 |
To assist
non-English background children progress toward acquisition
of the English language by encouraging verbal participation in the
3 Dimensional StoryTelling™
process.
|
 |
Have
children create a
StoryBox™.
This
StoryBox™
holds the basics for creating their own imaginative stories that the
children may verbalize to others. This serves as a stepping stone to
exploring the world of story books.
